Data Collection Progress

In September 2018, the Model School Network launched two major evaluation efforts which successful outcomes will be instrumental in informing key strategic decisions for the MSN in the years to come:

  • InnovED’s Longitudinal Benchmark & Evaluation Systems (LBES) will gather relevant data to help monitor progress on all indicators of quality education as defined by the MSN.

  • Schools for the Children of the World (SCW)’s infrastructure evaluation program will support the MSN to establish a 10-year infrastructure plan for the three existing MSN school networks over the entire Central Department.

As of the end of November, the two programs have made great strides towards their respective objectives. All data collection have been completed as for the entire infrastructure evaluation of the MSN, and for the establishment of a baseline of a schools sample group evaluated by LBES.

Starting January 2018, LBES will continue collecting data over the entire network of 200 schools, while SCW will conduct a visioning workshop to determine key guidelines for the MSN decennial infrastructure plan.
